Inspired by The Second First 100 Days — my 100 Day Project created in response to this administration’s attacks on women’s healthcare — the work has evolved as I translate each gouache painting into bigger, bolder fiber sculptures. What began as a daily practice for 100 days has grown into 100 Fiber Vulvas, an ongoing effort to quite literally take up more space as a woman during a time when the world keeps insisting I shouldn’t.

As I work to create the final, exhibition-ready fiber versions of each painting, some early iterations turned out with slight shifts in color, proportion, or form — not flaws, simply variations that aren’t the exact direction I’m pursuing for the full series. These pieces are offered as artist proofs: unique, fully finished wall sculptures that reflect the process, experimentation, and evolution of the project.

Each wall sculpture is roughly 10-12" high by 7–9" wide and is backed with soft felt, signed, dated, and finished with a metal d-ring for easy hanging. As with all handmade pieces—and depending on the painting it’s modeled after — minor variations in size and form may occur.
