5 7/8 inches x 5 7/8 inches
Acrylic on watercolor paper.
Created as part of a “100 Day Project” for the first 100 days of 2023, each piece documents something said to 4-year-old Sam or 2-year-old Max (or both) with a brief description of the situation on the reverse side.
This is the third year I’ve embarked on a self-assigned sustainable 100 day project. With a stack of leftover watercolor paper from a previously completed project, cut into squares (explaining the slightly strange measurement) and no new tubes of acrylic paint purchased, I was able to take advantage of everything I had on hand. This creative tradition has become my favorite as it encourages me to not take myself so seriously through the use of materials that some -perhaps many- might opt to toss out instead of use. Sharing online and later posting for sale has become part of the process as it forces me to share imperfect work - usually in a medium I’m not as comfortable with, as well as an opportunity to work through my discomfort in pricing/selling/shipping original artwork. (eeek!)
This original piece is available and ships from Brooklyn, NY in five to seven business days.
All sales are final.
